mOrus explores art and ecology through a collaborative exhibition between multidisciplinary artists Khwanchira Nual Chindamanee, a Bloomington-based printmaker, and Maxwell Fertik, Eskenazi School lecturer in comprehensive design, addressing the invasive mulberry tree in Bloomington, IN. The project focuses on repurposing mulberry, introduced to the West to start a failed silk industry, into a series of artworks, including objects made from local mulberry wood and handmade paper from a mulberry-milkweed fiber blend.
