The Grunwald Gallery presents the first of two Spring 2026 MFA Thesis Exhibitions. The show features work created by graduating Master of Fine Arts students in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University.  

The MFA Thesis Exhibitions represent the culmination of each student’s graduate research in the arts. Students work with the Gallery to plan and install their thesis work. The exhibition features graduate student work from a variety of studio areas: ceramics, digital arts, fibers, graphic design, metalsmithing & jewelry design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.   

About the Grunwald Gallery

The Grunwald Gallery of Art in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design presents contemporary works by professional and student artists in a special exhibition format. Exhibits incorporate art from a variety of contemporary genres and approaches and can be experimental or traditional. The Gallery is conceived as a visual art laboratory with artists participating in the installation of their works and interaction with students and the public is an integral part of Gallery programming. The Grunwald Gallery frequently collaborates with artists, scientists, and scholars to produce exhibits that interpret visual art in a broader humanities and interdisciplinary context.  

Visitor information

Gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00–4:00pm, or by appointment, and is closed Sunday and Monday. All events are free and open to the public and the Grunwald Gallery is accessible to people with disabilities.
