The Wood and Metal Shop works to provide a safe, friendly, and accessible space for creating and learning. The Shop supports the creative projects of students, faculty, and staff in the Eskenazi School with a diverse array of machinery and resources, including spaces and equipment for general fabrication as well as CNC cutting and milling services.
Wood shop and metal shop spaces and equipment are available for use by individuals and classes within the Eskenazi School.
CNC cutting services are available by appointment only, and are open for use by all Indiana University students, faculty, and staff.

Wood Shop and Metal Shop facilities
The Shop offers workspaces with an extensive array of equipment for creating with wood, metals, and other materials. While Shop users fabricate their projects independently, our technician staff is always on hand to ensure safety and provide assistance when needed.
Eskenazi School students, faculty and staff can gain access to the shop spaces and resources through in-class instruction or by completing one or more Authorization Safety Trainings.
