Jennifer Rose is a senior designer at IDEO.org, where she explores and identifies opportunities for empathy and responds to them through the design of products, services, and experiences. She leads teams on a wide range of projects spanning user research, innovation strategy, and interaction design.
Prior to joining the IDEO.org team, Jennifer worked in New York City as design director of a nonprofit dedicated to improving the design and delivery of public services. She also worked as a designer at the New York office of Pentagram. Jennifer has designed projects for such diverse clients as the National Gallery of Art, Medicare, NYC Department of Education and PayPal. As a graphic designer, she has a knack for making research visual, tangible, and memorable in order to better understand complex systems. Her work has been recognized by AIGA, Communications Arts, and Graphis. Jennifer first learned visual design through letterpress printing, an art she still practices today.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Henry Radford School of Fine Arts at Indiana University.
