The Eskenazi School hosts a talk by artist Kozo Miyoshi, whose photographs have received international acclaim for their unique and sincere approach to his fleeting subjects.
Born in Chiba, Japan in 1947, Miyoshi graduated from the Department of Photography at Nihon University College of Art in 1971. He began his photographic career in the 1970s and started shooting with an 8×10-inch large format camera in 1981. In 2009 he upgraded to an ultra-large-format 16×20-inch camera which he continues to use on his travels.
Miyoshi's talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
