Apparel Merchandising B.S. graduate, Lyndsey Korn, placed third in the Educators for Socially Responsible Apparel Practices Poster Competition at the annual ITAA Conference. Sustainable retailing concepts are developed in Senior Lecturer Mary Embry's M416 Sustainable Products class. Students present their work through posters at the end of each academic year, and merchandising faculty select the most innovative and well-formed concepts, which are then selected for the ITAA contest. Three students were sponsored this year, and Lyndsey was selected to attend and present her concept at the conference in St. Petersburg. The contest was judged by Timberland representatives, and Lyndsey placed third.
Lyndsey Korn currently lives in Chicago and works at Trunk Club.
