Sharron Lennon and Kim Johnson’s two papers, A content analysis of muscularity research, Part 1: Research strategy and participants’ demographics. Fashion, Style, & Popular Culture and Part 2: Theories used, measurement, and publication outlets. Fashion, Style, & Popular Culture have been accepted but will not be published until 2022 due to COVID. The papers analyzed muscularity research to determine the variables studied, how muscularity is measured, as well as characteristics of the research and participants.
