Professor Tracy Templeton represented her home country, Canada, in two important exhitions, “Formative Impressions” KCPA International Printmaking Exhibition at the Jincheong Printmaking Museum in Seoul, Korea and in Resonanace – Canadian Printmaking Exhibition hosted by Shengzhi Space, Hunnan Publishers and The Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China. Templeton was invited to China this past June to speak at the opening reception and establish relations for future collaborations.
Templeton was also involved in several other group exhibitions including From Time to Time, Butterfly Effect and Distortion, all of which were featured at the 2015 Southern Graphics International Conference in Knoxville, TN. She also participated in Re-riding History at the Ellert Museum in St Augusta, FL and The Pacific States National Printmaking Biennial in Hilo, HI. This fall she invited to exhibit at XIAP at Xiaoxiang International Printmaking Center, Changsha Normal University in Hunan Province, China and participate in their international portfolio exchange. “Graphic Art” Groep Van Roey in Belgium will also feature her work in two commissioned editions to be distributed across Europe.
Templeton had two solo exhibitions accompanied by artists lectures – Somewhere In Between at The Louise Brown Gallery at Duke University and Quiet of the Snow at the President’s Gallery at Black Hills State University in South Dakota. She will also be showing at Project áce and Lila Gallery in Buenos Aries, Argentina later this year.
