Adjunct Faculty
The Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University Bloomington is seeking applications from artists and designers with an MFA, M.Arch, professional design degrees, or the equivalent for adjunct faculty positions to teach courses across art and design. Adjunct faculty are essential to our programs, bringing real-world insights and creative energy into the studio environment. Our innovative, studio-based programs emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration, human-centered problem-solving, and experiential learning. Courses focus on projects in art, architecture, interiors, and industrial design and integrate technology, material exploration, and sustainable design practices.
Individuals with professional and/or academic experience are encouraged to apply. Specific course needs will vary by semester, but include:
· Materials and finishes
· Studio instruction (hands-on making and design-focused for courses, such as introductory drawing, color theory, 3D Design, and interiors and industrial design)
· Spatial planning
· Sustainable design
· Digital tools, like AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite.
