Deb Pearson is a Lecturer of Merchandising, focusing on product development, sourcing, manufacturing and professional development. Professor Pearson has had extensive experience in the industry concentrating on the full product development cycle. She has traveled overseas developing product for May Department Stores, Macys and Sears in both apparel and home product categories. Her years of experience have allowed her to develop her expertise in costing, pricing, manufacturing, packaging, store merchandising and omnichannel merchandising. She has held merchant/buyer and management positions and is using her experience to consult in the retail and wholesale industries. Her interests include technology, photography, and sustainability.
