 Kara Rasure is a visual artist and designer with a B.F.A in Furniture Design and an M.F.A in Visual Arts from Herron School of Art and Design. Her research explores contemporary approaches and innovative practices in wood as a medium. Her work has been showcased in exhibitions across the country, including notable venues such as the Wharton Esherick Museum, Cape Cod Museum of Art, and Evansville Museum of Arts and Sciences. Her prior roles include contributions to commercial interior design and fabrication, public art, set design for theater productions, and community projects and commissions.
