Megan Young is an arts administrator, curator, and educator with an interdisciplinary arts practice. Her work has earned critical acclaim through features in Hyperallergic, The Atlantic, and NPR.
Credits include commissions for the International Symposium on Electronic Art (Hong Kong), Armenia Art Fair (Yerevan), Art Souterrain (Montreal), Ammerman Center for Arts & Technology, Open Engagement, and Chicago DanceMakers Forum. Her work has been supported through grants and residencies with CEC ArtsLink, Knight Foundation, Andy Warhol Foundation, Ohio Arts Council, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, NCCAkron, CounterPulse, and the Chicago Cultural Center.
From 2018–2021, she provided creative oversight and management of the residency, exhibition, and award programs at SPACES in Cleveland. Previous experience includes managing Solid Ground Studio in Chicago and directing MegLouise Collective projects.
Young has previously taught coursework in visual art and performance for Cleveland Institute of Art, Baldwin Wallace University, and Kent State University.
