Through IU's Prison Arts Initiative, Eskenazi grad Larissa Danielle (MFA '22) has guided those incarcerated at the Putnamville Correctional Facility in "Drawing Your Story." "We make them feel like real art students, not just a number." Danielle said. "I can only imagine that does a lot for a person.”

The Grunwald Gallery's new show reveals Eskenazi faculty Malcolm Mobutu Smith's passion for Golden Age comics and the aquatic theme that runs through them. Smith spoke with WFIU/Indiana Public Media about the show, opening Friday, January 13 with his noon talk, a panel at 5 pm and a reception from 6-8 pm.
